Regular Season Round 7: AZS AGH KR - Slask Wroclaw 97-88

First defeat of league's leader Slask (6-1) against eleventh ranked AZS AGH KR (3-4) 97-88 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Slask. 32 personal fouls committed by Slask helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Tomasz Zych (185-87) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Swingman Maciej Koperski (191-99) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Four AZS AGH KR players scored in double figures. Power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-97, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 18 rebounds and point guard Norbert Kulon (187-92) added 23 points in the effort for Slask. Slask's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. AZS AGH KR moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Pogon Prudnik and STK Czarni. Slask at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Sokol Lancut. Slask will play next round against Gornik trying to make it back to the top of the standings. AZS AGH KR will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked GKS Tychy on the road.
