Regular Season Round 13: Gunma - Hiroshima D. 64-67

Third-ranked Gunma (6-7) made lots of trouble for first ranked Dragonflies (12-1) on Sunday. The visitors from Hiroshima managed to secure only three-point victory 67-64. However their fans expected easier game. American power forward Jamari Traylor (203-92, college: Kansas) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import center Eric Thompson (204-93, college: Pacific) chipped in 9 points and 13 rebounds. Four Dragonflies players scored in double figures. American forward Thomas Kennedy (201-87, college: Detroit Mercy) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and Nigerian forward Abdullahi Kuso (206-84, college: Tallahassee CC) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Gunma's coach Fujitaka Hiraoka tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Dragonflies have a solid series of four victories in a row. Newly promoted Dragonflies maintains first place with 12-1 record. Gunma at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. Dragonflies are looking forward to face Tokyo Z (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Gunma will play against Orange Vikings and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
