Regular Season Round 13: Cyberdyne IR - Yamagata 86-72

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Tsukuba. Second ranked Cyberdyne IR faced 4th placed Yamagata. Host Cyberdyne IR (9-4) defeated guests from Yamagata (5-8) 86-72. American forward Scootie Randall (198-90, college: Temple) stepped up and scored 19 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and point guard Kohei Fukuzawa (177-93) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Cyberdyne IR players scored in double figures. At the losing side American-Irish swingman Will Hanley (201-90, college: Bowdoin, agency: Duran International) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and guard Hiroki Furuhashi (185-92) scored 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cyberdyne IR maintains second place with 9-4 record behind leader Shinshu BW. Yamagata lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with eight games lost. Cyberdyne IR will meet at home league's second-placed Toyotsu FE in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Yamagata will play against Nishinomiya S. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
