The game in Fukushima was also quite interesting. Third ranked Shimane Magic (8-5) played at the court of 5th ranked Fukushima (4-9). Shimane Magic defeated Fukushima 85-75 on Sunday. Shimane Magic looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Hungarian Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Venezuelan center Gregory Echenique (206-90, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. American power forward Evan Ravenel (204-89, college: Ohio St.) produced 19 points and 6 rebounds and Toshifumi Kawamitsu (188-90) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Shimane Magic and five Fukushima players scored in double figures. Fukushima's coach Tomohiro Moriyama let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Shimane Magic maintains third place with 8-5 record having just two points less than leader Shinshu BW, which they share with Tokyo Z. Fukushima lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with nine games lost. Shimane Magic will have a break next round. Fukushima will play at home against the league's second-placed Kumamoto V. (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
