Regular Season Round 7: MKS DG 2 - Tarnowskie Gory 56-80

Not a big story in a game in Dabrowa Gornicza where bottom-ranked MKS DG 2 (0-6) was outplayed by sixth ranked Tarnowskie Gory (4-3) 80-56 on Sunday. Tarnowskie Gory made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 MKS DG 2 turnovers. Forward Grzegorz Zadecki (195-84) fired 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Center Michal Nikiel (205-83) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. Four Tarnowskie Gory players scored in double figures. Forward Michal Batorski (200-88) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds and point guard Radoslaw Chorab (191-0) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Tarnowskie Gory maintains sixth place in Group C with 4-3 record. MKS DG 2 lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. Tarnowskie Gory will face Pogon RS (#11) in Ruda Slaska in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. MKS DG 2 will play on the road against Wisla Krakow and hopes to get finally their first victory.
