There was a surprise result in Reggio Emilia where fourteenth ranked Grissin Bon RE (2-3) defeated higher ranked Openjobmetis VA (3-2) 74-68 on Sunday. Openjobmetis VA was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Swingman Ricky Ledo (201-92, college: Providence) stepped up and scored 27 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and forward Eric Griffin (203-90, college: Campbell) chipped in 8 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Dominique Archie (201-87, college: S.Carolina) responded with 22 points and 4 assists and power forward Tyler Cain (203-88, college: S.Dakota) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Openjobmetis VA's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Grissin Bon RE moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 4 other teams.
