Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Olginate (2-4) was defeated on the road by top-ranked Faenza (6-0) 76-58 on Sunday. Faenza outrebounded Olginate 36-22 including 24 on the defensive glass. Swingman Gioacchino Chiappelli (198-91) scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Flavio Gay (184-98) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Faenza players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Federico De-Bettin (180-94) with 11 points and 5 assists and Edoardo Caversazio (200-96) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Faenza have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position in B with 6-0 record. Olginate lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth place with four games lost. Faenza will face Desio (#7) at home in the next round where they are favorite.
