Regular Season Round 4: Vidabasket - Rilski 2 62-82

Quite upsetting was Vidabasket's 20-point home defeat in a game versus Rilski 2 who crushed hosts . They also forced 22 Vidabasket turnovers. Swingman Miroslav Vasov (199-98) fired 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Plamen Stefanov (183-0) chipped in 17 points. Four Rilski 2 players scored in double figures. Guard Teodor Nikolov (194-95) produced 14 points and 9 rebounds and forward Julian Kolev (194-80) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. It was the only win of guest team this round and in all other games host teams recorded victories. Rilski 2 (1-2) left bottom position moving up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. It was Vidabasket's third loss in a row. They still close the standings with three games lost. Rilski 2 will meet at home league's leader Akademik Sofia in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Vidabasket will play against Champion 2006 (#3) in Sofia and hopes to get finally their first victory.
