Regular Season Round 6: Fabriano - Catanzaro 75-69

Everything went according to plan when eighth ranked Fabriano (4-2) beat at home 11th ranked Catanzaro (2-4) 75-69 on Sunday. Fabriano forced 23 Catanzaro turnovers. Forward Devid Cimarelli (192-98) scored 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Argentinian point guard Emiliano Paparella (184-83, agency: Players Group) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Fabriano players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was center Devil Medizza (198-90) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Serbian Nikola Markovic (197-0) scored 20 points. Fabriano moved-up to third place in B, which they share with Ozzano. Loser Catanzaro keeps the eleventh position with four games lost. Fabriano will face Civitanova (#8) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Catanzaro will play against Porto S.Elpidio and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
