Rather expected game in Castellanza where 13th ranked FCL Contract LG (1-5) was edged by tenth ranked Eurotrend BI (3-3) 73-70 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American forward DeShawn Sims (203-88, college: Michigan) who scored 35 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. The other American import guard KT Harrell (193-92, college: Auburn) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized American point guard Anthony Raffa (185-89, college: Co.Carolina) who recorded 20 points and American forward Makinde London (208-96, college: Chattanooga, agency: HMS) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Eurotrend BI moved-up to eighth place in A2. Loser FCL Contract LG dropped to the fifteenth position with five games lost. Eurotrend BI will face higher ranked Bergamo Bsk (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. FCL Contract LG will play against Eurobasket RO (#10) in Roma and hope to win that game.
