Date: November 5, 2018
Bottom-ranked Ramat Hasharon (0-4) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 89-68 loss to fifth ranked Maccabi Ramat Gan (3-1) in Ramat Hen. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Ramat Hasharon's 28. Maccabi Ramat Gan players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Even 12 points and 8 rebounds by forward Teana Muldrow (188-95, college: W.Virginia) did not help to save the game for Ramat Hasharon. Forward Asia Boyd (185-92, college: Kansas, agency: Two Points) added 15 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Five Maccabi Ramat Gan and four Ramat Hasharon players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Maccabi Ramat Gan moved-up to third place. Ramat Hasharon at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Maccabi Ramat Gan's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Elitzur Holon on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week.
