Regular Season Round 13: Tochigi Brex - Chiba Jets 73-61

B League round 13 caused change at the leadership position. Third defeat of league's leader Chiba Jets (10-3) against second ranked Tochigi Brex (11-2) 73-61 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Chiba Jets. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Tochigi Brex forced 19 Chiba Jets turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Seiji Ikaruga (185-94) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Naturalized American forward Michael Parker (202-81, college: Evergreen St.) answered with 17 points and 8 rebounds and American power forward Josh Duncan (203-86) added 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Chiba Jets. Tochigi Brex keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Nagoya DD. Chiba Jets at the other side dropped to the second place with three games lost. They share the position with Ryukyu GK. They were replaced at the leadership position by Tochigi Brex. Chiba Jets will play next round against strong Ryukyu GK trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Tochigi Brex will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Fukuoka Rizing at home.
