Everything went according to plan in Taiyuan where fourth ranked Flame (7-1) beat 14th ranked Swordfish (2-6) 78-67. Flame players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Wen Qi orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Tongtong Wu (176) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 6 steals for the winners. Montenegrin center Jelena Dubljevic (191-87, agency: BeoBasket) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Yingyun Li (173) added 19 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Swordfish. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Swordfish's coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Flame have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Swordfish at the other side dropped to the thirteenth position with six games lost.
