Regular Season Round 8: SKK Siedlce - Ksiezak Lowicz 104-81

Bottom-ranked SKK Siedlce managed to get the second consecutive victory on Wednesday night. This time they outleveled fifteenth-ranked Ksiezak Lowicz 104-81. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 23-point difference suggests that SKK Siedlce is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. And what about a second win in a row after ...six consecutive losses. SKK Siedlce dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Ksiezak Lowicz's 24. SKK Siedlce had a 31-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 60.9 percentage. SKK Siedlce looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Bartosz Wrobel (190-95, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 29 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and guard Rafal Sobilo (188-89) who added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four SKK Siedlce players scored in double figures. Arkadiusz Kobus (196-86, agency: Promotex) responded with 24 points and power forward Marcin Salamonik (202-83) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SKK Siedlce (2-6) moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Biofarm PZN. Ksiezak Lowicz lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom position with seven games lost. SKK Siedlce is looking forward to face higher ranked AZS AGH KR (#12) in Krakow in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Ksiezak Lowicz will play at home against Polonia Leszno (#3) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
