Bottom-ranked Weert is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to ninth ranked Rotterdam (2-6) 89-71. American swingman Trevor Setty (203-89, college: Pikeville) scored 24 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Justin Gordon (198-93, college: Wofford) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Gordon is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Rotterdam players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American center Tony Washington (208, college: La Salle) with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) and swingman Daan Rosenmuller (193-95) scored 12 points. Weert's coach Radenko Varagic rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Rotterdam moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Den Helder. Weert at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Rotterdam will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Weert will play on the road against Den Helder (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
