Regular Season Round 6: AZS Koszalin - Anwil 76-91

Bottom-ranked AZS Koszalin is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to eleventh ranked Anwil (3-3) 91-76. It was a great shooting night for Anwil especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. 27 personal fouls committed by AZS Koszalin helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Russian forward Valery Likhodey (205-86, agency: Alti Sport) who scored 23 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Serbian power forward Nikola Markovic (208-89) chipped in 16 points. Four Anwil players scored in double figures. Anwil's coach Igor Milicic used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian power forward Marko Tejic (209-95, agency: BeoBasket) who recorded 21 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Drew Brandon (193-92, college: E.Washington) added 5 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Defending champion moved-up to eighth place. AZS Koszalin at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Anwil's next round opponent will be Rosa (#11) in Radom. AZS Koszalin will play on the road against Start (#10) in Lublin and hopes to get finally their first victory.
