Regular Season Round 3: Angers - CFBB 100-46

Angers delivered the third consecutive victory. This time they crushed CFBB (0-3) 100-46. Angers dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 26. Angers forced 28 CFBB turnovers and outrebounded them 43-22 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Angers especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by CFBB's players. It was a quality performance for Canadian-Serbian forward Stephany Skrba (188-87, college: Michigan) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds. Naturalized DR Congolese forward Lorraine Lokoka (184-89) accounted for 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Four Angers players scored in double figures. Angers' coach David Gautier felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Janelle Salaun (186-1) came up with 20 points and Mariama Daramy added 11 points and 5 steals respectively for CFBB in the defeat. Angers' next round opponent will be Chartres (#4) on the road. CFBB will play against Charnay (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
