An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Monterrey. Third ranked Fuerza Regia faced their biggest opponent Lenadores. Host Fuerza Regia (7-2) defeated guests from (7-4) 82-76. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Lenadores. Fuerza Regia shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Puerto Rican swingman David Huertas (195-87, college: Mississippi) scored 27 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized Puerto Rican guard Joseph Soto (190-93) responded with 22 points and 7 assists and the former international forward Stephen Soriano (200-85, college: Colorado Mesa) scored 23 points and 5 rebounds. Fuerza Regia have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Aaguacateros and Capitanes. Newly promoted Lenadores dropped to the third place with four games lost. Fuerza Regia will again meet at home Lenadores (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Lenadores will have a break next round.
