Everything went according to plan in Coruna where second ranked Palencia Baloncesto (6-1) won against 18th ranked Leyma Basquet (1-6) 109-95 on Friday. Palencia Baloncesto shot 70.0 percent from the field and made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Palencia Baloncesto especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. Palencia Baloncesto looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. It was a great evening for power forward Urko Otegui (203-81) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Palencia Baloncesto keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Forca Lleida. Leyma Basquet lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixteenth place with six games lost.
