Regular Season Round 6: Radom - Spojnia 76-72

There was a small surprise when thirteenth ranked Rosa (2-4) beat 10th ranked Spojnia Stargard (2-4) in Radom 76-72 on Friday. It was a good game for Finnish Carl Lindbom (206-91) who led his team to a victory with 30 points and 9 rebounds. American-Hungarian point guard Obadiah Trotter (188-84, college: Alabama A&M) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Rosa's coach Robert Witka allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American point guard Anthony Hickey (180-92, college: Oklahoma St.) replied with 24 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals and naturalized Canadian forward Nick Madray (206-94, college: Wagner) added 11 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Spojnia Stargard. Rosa moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Spojnia Stargard. Rosa will face higher ranked Anwil (#8) in Wloclawek in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
