Round 6 most important game was a victory of Familia Schio over one of their biggest challengers Napoli 72-67 on Saturday night. Familia Schio dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Napoli's 26. It was a good game for American center Jantel Lavender (191-88, college: Ohio St.) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Gabby Williams (180-96, college: Connecticut) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and the former international forward Laura Macchi (188-79) added 21 points in the effort for Napoli. Defending champion maintains second position with 5-1 record behind leader Venezia. Napoli at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Broni and San Martino. Familia Schio are looking forward to face Lucca (#7) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Napoli will play against Vigarano (#8) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
