A very interesting game took place in Sant Adria. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 10th ranked Sant Adria (1-5) to seventh ranked Valencia (3-3) 67-64 on Saturday evening. It was a good game for American forward Joy Brown (180-93, college: Iona) who led her team to a victory with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Mali power forward Meiya Tirera (186-86, agency: ProDep Management) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American guard Meighan Simmons (175-92, college: Tennessee) replied with 25 points and Danish forward Maria Jespersen (183-94, college: S.Florida) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Sant Adria. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Valencia have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with AE Sedis. Sant Adria at the other side dropped to the twelfth position with five games lost. Valencia's next round opponent will be Socinsa Bembibre (#10) on the road. Sant Adria will play against Al-Qazeres in Caceres and hope to win that game.
