Regular Season Round 14: Tochigi Brex - Fukuoka Rizing 97-65

Everything went according to plan when first ranked Tochigi Brex (12-2) outscored at home 6th ranked Fukuoka Rizing (2-12) 97-65 on Saturday. They outrebounded Fukuoka Rizing 39-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. Tochigi Brex looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Fukuoka Rizing's players. American forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 18 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Jeffrey Gibbs (188-80, college: Otterbein) chipped in 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. American center Dexter Pittman (208-88, college: Texas) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and British forward Benjamin Lawson (216-95, college: W.Kentucky) scored 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tochigi Brex have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-2 record. Newly promoted Fukuoka Rizing keeps the sixth place with 12 games lost. Tochigi Brex will face again Fukuoka Rizing (#6) at home in the next round where they are favorite.
