Everything went according to plan when second ranked Jairis (4-1) won against at home bottom-ranked Cartagena (0-5) 86-76 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was forward Jorge Lledo (203-80) who scored 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Italian-Argentinian Juan Ignacio Jasen (200-85) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Jairis' coach Xavier Sanchez used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
