Regular Season Round 9: Biofarm PZN - Slask Wroclaw 70-79

There was no surprise in Poznan where 13th ranked Biofarm PZN (2-7) was defeated by second ranked Slask (8-1) 79-70 on Saturday. Slask made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-97, agency: Octagon Europe) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Jakub Musial (185-98) chipped in 22 points. Four Slask players scored in double figures. Slask's coach Radoslaw Hyzy used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Mikolaj Kurpisz (202-98) who recorded 20 points and 7 rebounds and Dawid Gruszczynski (195-97) added 12 points respectively. Slask maintains second place with 8-1 record behind leader Sokol Lancut. Biofarm PZN lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with seven games lost. Slask will have a break next round. Biofarm PZN will play on the road against GKS Tychy (#6) and hope to win that game.
