Regular Season Round 5: PAOK - Kymis 78-60

Very expected game when 12th ranked Kymis (1-4) lost to eighth ranked PAOK (3-2) in Thessaloniki 60-78. The best player for the winners was international power forward Vangelis Margaritis (203-82) who scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. American point guard Wiliam Hatcher (188-84, college: Miami, OH, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists. American power forward Chris Horton (203-94, college: Austin Peay St.) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and the other American import guard Rod Camphor (191-92, college: SW Oklahoma St., agency: Mansfield and Associates) added 15 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. PAOK moved-up to fourth place, which they share with AEK and Promitheas. Kymis lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with four games lost. PAOK's next round opponent will be Ifestos (#9) in Keratsiniou which should be theoretically an easy game. Kymis will play at home against AEK and hope to win that game.
