The game in Chalon was also quite interesting. Second ranked Dijon (8-1) played at the court of 8th ranked Chalon (5-5). Dijon managed to secure a 4-point victory 78-74 on Saturday. Dijon forced 21 Chalon turnovers. Guard Dimitri Radnic (194-99) nailed 14 points and 4 assists for the winning side and guard Damien Archinard (196-98) accounted for 13 points and 4 steals. Point guard Hugo Besson (184-1) came up with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Mohamad Diop (204-99) added 16 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Chalon in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Dijon. They maintain second place with 8-1 record having just three points less than leader Cholet. Chalon at the other side keeps the eighth position with five games lost. Dijon will meet at home Gravelines (#4) in the next round. Chalon will play against Chalons-Reims (#5) and hope to secure a win.
