Regular Season Round 7: Plasencia - Estela 55-77

No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Estela (4-3) outleveled on the road 11th ranked Plasencia (2-5) 77-55 on Saturday. Estela had a 27-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Chadian center Placide Nakidjim (205-94) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Argentinian guard Juan Sutina (192-90, agency: Interperformances) helped adding 15 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side American-Jamaican Duane Morgan (198-93, college: Adelphi) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and Mario Alvarez (196-91) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Estela moved-up to seventh place in Silver. Loser Plasencia keeps the eleventh position with five games lost. Estela will face Baskonia B (#9) at home in the next round. Plasencia will play against Zornotza in Amorebieta-Echano and hope to win that game.
