No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Zaprude (3-3) beat bottom-ranked Bulldogs (1-5) in Zagreb 69-54 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 15 points. It was a good game for forward Ivan Penic (202-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Marko Raic (190-87, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 10 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four Zaprude players scored in double figures. Zaprude's coach used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Luka Ljubicic (200-96) replied with 20 points and 7 rebounds and guard Marko Juric (190-99) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Bulldogs. Zaprude moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Kvarner 2010 and Djakovo. Bulldogs lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with five games lost. Zaprude will face Kvarner (#7) in Rijeka in the next round. Bulldogs will play on the road against KK Dubrovnik (#8) and hope to win that game.
