Regular Season Round 3: Ulcinj - Sutjeska 83-81

The most exciting game of round 3 in the Erste Liga took place in Ulcijn. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of Sutjeska (1-2) to Ulcinj (2-1) 83-81 on Saturday evening. Ulcinj made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. It was a good game for Milos Latkovic (196-93) who led his team to a victory with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American point guard Bryce Jones (183-94, college: Murray St.) contributed with 17 points and 6 assists for the winners. Jones is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The former international power forward Radosav Spasojevic (204-92, agency: BeoBasket) answered with 21 points and 6 rebounds and Bosnian point guard Drasko Knezevic (185-93) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Sutjeska. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sutjeska's coach Zoran Glomazic tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Ulcinj is looking forward to face Primorje 1945 (#8) in Herceg Novi in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Sutjeska will play at home against Ibar Rozaje and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
