There was an upset when higher ranked MCKiS Jaworz. (5-3) lost to eighth ranked Zaglebie (4-4) in Sosnowiec 63-69 on Saturday. Zaglebie looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Point guard Pawel Jurczynski (183-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points. Power forward Jakub Czyz (205-95) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Lukasz Majchrowski (194-95) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and Sebastian Dusilo (198-92) added 5 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for MCKiS Jaworz.MCKiS Jaworz.'s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Zaglebie moved-up to seventh place in Group C, which they share with Unia Tarnow and Dobrodzien. Loser MCKiS Jaworz. keeps the third position with three games lost. Zaglebie will face Bielsko-Biala (#13) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. MCKiS Jaworz. will play against Wisla Krakow (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
