Regular Season Round 7: Bolzano BK - Milano 76-68

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Milano (2-5) lost on the road to sixth ranked Bolzano BK (4-3) 76-68 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for naturalized Senegalese guard Safy Fall (176-89) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 9 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws). Guard Maria-Daniela Servillo (170-89) contributed with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Swingman Giulia Gombac (180-94) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds and swingman Susanna Toffali (170-98) added 24 points in the effort for Milano. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bolzano BK maintains sixth place in A2 with 4-3 record. Loser Milano dropped to the thirteenth position with five games lost. Bolzano BK will face Varese (#16) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Milano will play against San Martino and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
