Rather predictable result in San Sebastian where fourth ranked Gipuzkoa UPV (5-1) defeated 6th ranked AE Sedis (3-3) 66-57. It was a good game for American power forward Lyndra Weaver (185-87, college: Virginia, agency: ProDep Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Toch Sarr contributed with 10 points for the winners. American forward Merritt Hempe (190-94, college: Georgia) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and guard Andrea Vilaro (182-93, college: Florida) added 8 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for AE Sedis. AE Sedis' coach Bernat Canut rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Gipuzkoa UPV moved-up to third place, which they share with Girona.
