Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Urania Milano (4-3) outleveled on the road 12th ranked Crema (2-5) 100-69 on Sunday. Urania Milano dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Crema's 24 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Crema 35-17 including a 27-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Urania Milano especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Crema's players. Guard Andrea Scanzi (196-88) fired 23 points for the winners. Center Giacomo Eliantonio (206-88) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. Five Urania Milano players scored in double figures. Urania Milano's coach Davide Villa felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Luca Montanari (181-92) produced 27 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Marco Legnini (198-96, agency: SPORTlab Agency) added 13 points respectively for lost side.
