No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Team Crema (6-1) crushed 8th ranked San Martino (3-4) in San Martino di L 66-42 on Sunday. Team Crema forced 24 San Martino turnovers and outrebounded them 43-22 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. San Martino was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for power forward Alice Nori (182-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Federica Parmesani (183-98) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Claudia Amabiglia (172-98) answered with 9 points and F Bergamin added 5 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for San Martino. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Team Crema moved-up to fourth place in A2. Loser San Martino dropped to the eleventh position with four games lost. Team Crema will face league's leader Alpo VF in Verona in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. San Martino will play on the road against Milano (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
