Regular Season Round 3: Homentmen - Hoops 94-82

Homentmen defeated Hoops Club in Beirut 94-82. Homentmen players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a good game for the former international swingman Elias Rustom (197-87) who led his team to a victory with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Nigerian-American guard Michael Efevberha (193-84, college: CS Northridge, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Homentmen players scored in double figures. American forward Dikembe Dixson (201-96, college: Ill.-Chicago) answered with 30 points and 4 steals and Senegalese forward Ibrahima Thomas (213-87, college: Cincinnati) added 13 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Hoops Club. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
