Regular Season Round 6: Raiders Basket - PuHu Juniorit 87-67

Bottom-ranked PuHu Juniorit is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to eighth ranked Raiders Basket (2-3) 87-67 on Sunday evening. Raiders Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to PuHu Juniorit's 36. Raiders Basket forced 24 PuHu Juniorit turnovers. It was a good game for American guard Jordan Jacks (196-94, college: Ky Wesleyan) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 15 rebounds. The other American import forward Derylton Hill (196-94, college: Ark.-Monticello) contributed with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Forward Niki Ahola (201-98) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and guard Valtteri Leino (183-95) added 9 points and 7 assists in the effort for PuHu Juniorit. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Raiders Basket maintains eighth position in Division with 2-3 record. Loser PuHu Juniorit still closes the standings with five games lost. Raiders Basket will face Espoo Basket (#9) at home in the next round.
