Rather predictable result when tenth ranked Unia Tarnow (4-4) won against at home 13th ranked Bielsko-Biala (1-7) 73-59 on Sunday. Unia Tarnow had a 36-25 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Tomasz Bryzek (195-86) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Power forward Tomasz Palmowski (199-97) contributed with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Robert Kozaczka (199-81) replied with 12 points and 9 rebounds and forward Michal Cichon (192-84) added 13 points in the effort for Bielsko-Biala. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Unia Tarnow moved-up to seventh place in Group C, which they share with Zaglebie and Dobrodzien. Bielsko-Biala lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with seven games lost. Unia Tarnow will face AZS PCz (#11) in Czestochowa in the next round. Bielsko-Biala will play at home against Zaglebie and hope to win that game.
