Regular Season Round 11: Fuerza Regia - Lenadores 92-77

An interesting game for Fuerza Regia (8-2) which hosted in Monterrey 3rd placed Lenadores (7-5). Second ranked Fuerza Regia had an easy win 92-77. Fuerza Regia dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Lenadores' 30. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). Nigerian center Jeleel Akindele (216-83, college: Chicago St., agency: BeoBasket) helped adding 22 points and 6 rebounds. Four Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. American-Puerto Rican Javier Mojica (190-84, college: Cent.Conn.St.) responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds and naturalized Puerto Rican guard Joseph Soto (190-93) scored 10 points and 7 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fuerza Regia have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Aaguacateros and Capitanes. Newly promoted Lenadores keep the third place with five games lost. Fuerza Regia will play against Correcaminos (#5) in Ciudad Victoria in the next round. Lenadores will have a break next round.
