Regular Season Round 7: Jamtland II - BG Lulea 72-89

Rather predictable result in Ostersund where sixth ranked BG Lulea (3-1) defeated bottom-ranked Jamtland II (0-7) 89-72 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by BG Lulea. Jamtland II was better in second period 24-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when BG Lulea won last quarter 27-11. They also forced 20 Jamtland II turnovers. It was a great evening for guard Simon Finden (191-0) who led his team to a victory scoring 32 points. Pelle Larsson (189-1) helped adding 12 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side point guard Max Tandberg (183-95) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and forward Alexander Yemane (200-99) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BG Lulea moved-up to fourth place. Loser Jamtland II still closes the standings with seven games lost. BG Lulea will face KFUM Lidingo (#7) at home in the next round. Jamtland II will play against the league's second-placed KFUM Uppsala and hopes to get finally their first victory.
