Regular Season Round 15: Chiba Jets - Ryukyu GK 84-66

Round 15 in B League means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Chiba where host Chiba Jets (11-4) beat league's leader Ryukyu GK (11-4) 84-66 on Sunday evening. It was a key game for the top position in the league. It was a great shooting night for Chiba Jets especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. The best player for the winners was American power forward Josh Duncan (203-86) who scored 23 points. Naturalized American forward Michael Parker (202-81, college: Evergreen St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Five Chiba Jets players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Josh Scott (208-93, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) who recorded 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Jeff Ayres (206-87, college: Arizona St.) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Chiba Jets keep a position of league leader, which they share with Niigata Albirex and Ryukyu GK. Ryukyu GK will play next round against strong Toyota Alvark trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Chiba Jets will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Osaka Evessa at home.
