Regular Season Round 15: Osaka Evessa - Yokohama BC 78-68

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Osaka Evessa (6-9) defeated at home 6th ranked Yokohama BC (3-12) 78-68 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American power forward Xavier Gibson (210-88, college: Florida St.) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) chipped in 8 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Javon McCrea (201-92, college: Buffalo) who recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and international point guard Ryo Tawatari (180-93, college: Dominican, CA) added 10 points and 7 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Osaka Evessa maintains fourth place with 6-9 record, which they share with San-en. Yokohama BC lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with 12 games lost. Osaka Evessa will face league's second-placed Chiba Jets on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Yokohama BC will play against Fukuoka Rizing and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
