Very important is a road loss of third ranked Baltur Cento (4-3) against sixth ranked GSA Udine (4-3) on Sunday night. Visiting Baltur Cento was defeated by GSA Udine in a tough game in Udine 76-85. It was a great evening for swingman Riccardo Cortese (195-86) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 5 rebounds. American swingman Trevis Simpson (193-91, college: NC-Greensboro) helped adding 15 points and 4 assists. GSA Udine's coach Demis Cavina allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American swingman James White (201-82, college: Cincinnati) responded with 18 points and the other American import point guard Keddric Mays (183-84, college: Chattanooga) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Five GSA Udine and four Baltur Cento players scored in double figures. GSA Udine moved-up to fifth place in A2. GSA Udine will play against Roseto Sharks (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Baltur Cento will play against UCC Piacenza (#14) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
