Regular Season Round 10: BC Lulea - Uppsala 107-80

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Uppsala Basket (1-12) was crushed on the road by fifth ranked BC Lulea (8-4) 107-80 on Monday. The game without a history. BC Lulea led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. BC Lulea outrebounded Uppsala Basket 42-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Uppsala Basket's players. International forward Denzel Andersson (203-96) fired a triple-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 blocks for the winners. British forward Robert Gilchrist (206-90, college: Florida St.) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds. Five BC Lulea players scored in double figures. BC Lulea's coach Peter Oqvist felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Axel Nordstrom (193-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and American guard Xavier Cannefax (188-89, college: Warner Pacific) added 28 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his eight free throws) respectively for lost side. BC Lulea moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Boras. Uppsala Basket lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
