Regular Season Round 9: Kotwica - Sokol Lancut 68-90

Undefeated leader Sokol Lancut delivered the ninth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 16th ranked Kotwica (1-8) 90-68 in Kolobrzeg. Sokol Lancut shot 22 for 37 from the free-throw line, while Kotwica only scored four points from the stripe. Sokol Lancut forced 21 Kotwica turnovers. Kotwica was plagued by 32 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for swingman Filip Malgorzaciak (192-93) who led his team to a victory with 24 points. Point guard Kamil Zywert (185-96) contributed with 12 points and 4 assists for the winners. Five Sokol Lancut players scored in double figures. Swingman Damian Janiak (195-89, agency: Promotex) answered with 19 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Lukasz Bodych (201-90) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Kotwica. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sokol Lancut (9-0) have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 9 victories in a row. Kotwica lost fifth consecutive game.
