An interesting game for Beroe (3-0) which played road game in Plovdiv against 3rd ranked Academik Plovdiv (1-2). Top-ranked Beroe managed to get a 9-point victory 95-86. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Conner Frankamp (185-95, college: Wichita St.) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 4 assists. The other American import guard Adonis Filer (195-93, college: Florida Atlantic) contributed with 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American guard Daishon Knight (185-91, college: Illinois St., agency: Mansfield and Associates) replied with 23 points and 5 assists and point guard Adriyan Sekulov (179-96) added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Academik Plovdiv. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Beroe have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Teuta. Academik Plovdiv at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. Beroe is looking forward to face Barsy Atyrau (#5) on the road in the next round. Academik Plovdiv will play against Barsy Atyrau and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
