The biggest surprise took place in Murcia where host Real Murcia (6-2) beat league's leader Villarrobledo (6-2) 68-64 on Wednesday evening. It was a key game for the second position in Silver. The best player for the winners was American forward Connor Beranek (198-94, college: Nebraska-Kearney, agency: Duran International) who scored 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import forward Deshawn Curtis (198-92, college: Cheyney, agency: Duran International) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. Real Murcia's coach Rafael Monclova used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American Jalen Nesbitt (198-93, college: N.Florida) produced 17 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Arturo Fernandez (182-90) added 14 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Real Murcia moved-up to second place in Silver. Villarrobledo will play next round against Girona Basquet trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Real Murcia will try to continue on its current victory against twelfth ranked Vic on the road.
