Regular Season Round 4: Bashkimi - Kozuv 80-76

Kosovan Bashkimi's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat FYR Macedonian Kozuv (0-3) 80-76. Bashkimi players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Mike Martin (181-93, college: Cent.Arkansas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists and the other American import forward Jordan Capps (201-95, college: SE Louisiana) who added 24 points during the contest. At the losing side Serbian power forward Ivan Miskovic (204-84, college: Alaska-Fairb., agency: Interperformances) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and Nikola Karakolev (197-87) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. It was the only win of host team this round and in all other games visitors recorded victories. Defending Kosovan champion (1-3) left bottom position moving up to fourth place. It was Kozuv's third loss in a row. They still close the standings with three games lost. Bashkimi will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kozuv will play on the road against Barsy Atyrau (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
