Regular Season Round 6: Caen - Paris 96-99

Date: November 16, 2018
Paris can celebrate finally their first win this season after five consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Caen, where they edged Caen (1-5) 99-96 on Friday. Trinidad and Tobago-Australian point guard Daniel Dillon (193-86, college: Arizona) had a double-double by scoring 28 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Trinidad and Tobago-Canadian Kris Joseph (201-88, college: Syracuse) chipped in 22 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Paris' coach Jean-Christophe Prat used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American forward Jordan Tolbert (201-92, college: SMU) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Jerrold Brooks (183-91, college: S.Mississippi) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 assists. Five Caen players scored in double figures. Paris left bottom position moving up to seventeenth place, which they share with defeated Caen. It was Caen's fifth loss in a row. Paris will meet at home higher ranked Gries/Oberhoffen (#11) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Caen will play against ALM Evreux (#9) and hope to win that game.
