Regular Season Round 10: Fos-sur-Mer - Strasbourg 61-83

Bottom-ranked Fos-sur-Mer (0-10) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their tenth consecutive match to seventh ranked Strasbourg (6-4) 83-61 on Friday evening. Strasbourg dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Fos-sur-Mer's 32. Strasbourg forced 25 Fos-sur-Mer turnovers and outrebounded them 41-29 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Forward Quentin Goulmy (206-98) fired 29 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Maxime Hmae (200-1) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Four Strasbourg players scored in double figures. Swingman Allan Dokossi (203-99) produced 24 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and Bahamas point guard Dominick Bridgewater (180-0) added 14 points, 6 assists and 7 steals respectively for lost side. Fos-sur-Mer's coach already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Strasbourg moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Monaco. Newly promoted Fos-sur-Mer still closes the standings with ten games lost. Strasbourg will meet at home Nanterre (#12) in the next round where they are favorite. Fos-sur-Mer will play against Levallois (#17) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
